Relationship with Yourself and Others
The way we relate to ourselves and others shapes our wellbeing, our sense of connection, and how we navigate life. I know how challenging it can feel when relationships, with yourself or the people around you are strained, confusing, or painful. I believe that understanding and compassion can help you feel more connected, supported, and grounded.

Therapy provides a safe space where you can explore patterns in your relationships, discover what you need to feel secure and seen, and develop healthier ways of relating, both to yourself and to others.

“We cannot truly love others until we learn to love and accept ourselves.”
Exploring Your Relationships

In therapy, I support you to explore:

-
How you relate to yourself, your thoughts, feelings, and self-talk
-
Patterns in your relationships with family, friends, or colleagues
-
How past experiences may influence current interactions
-
Ways to communicate, set boundaries, and connect more authentically

I see behaviours and patterns as meaningful attempts to cope or protect parts of yourself. Together, we can explore these with curiosity and compassion, noticing what is serving you and what may be holding you back.

Building Connections

I help you to notice the dynamics that affect your relationships, both internal and external and develop strategies to foster connection, empathy, and understanding.
This can include:

-
Practising self-compassion and self-reflection
-
Understanding and communicating needs effectively
-
Exploring feelings of isolation, frustration, or anger in relationships
-
Reconnecting with your authentic self in connection with others

Through therapy, I aim to create a space where you can explore your relationships safely, notice patterns, and practice new ways of being, both for yourself and with others.
My Experience of Relationships

I understand what it feels like to struggle with self-criticism, to doubt your worth, or to feel disconnected from others. I also know the subtle ways we can protect ourselves, through withdrawal, people-pleasing, or masking, that may have helped in the past but now leave us feeling stuck or isolated.

These personal insights inform my work with clients. I aim to offer empathy, reflection, and understanding, helping you explore both your inner world and your relationships with others.
