FAQs
Starting therapy can bring up lots of questions, especially if it’s your first time. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common things people ask about working with me. If there’s anything else you’re wondering, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
Humanistic therapy is a collaborative, client-led approach that focuses on your unique experiences, feelings, and personal growth. Rather than giving advice or solutions, I provide a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, reconnect with yourself, and develop greater self-awareness.
Therapy can support a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, stress, life transitions, identity questions, relationship challenges, loss, and self-esteem. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting, we can begin wherever you are.
Sessions typically last 50 minutes and are shaped around what feels most helpful for you. I offer:
• In-person sessions
• Online sessions
• Walk-and-talk (outdoor) sessions
We’ll regularly review our work together to ensure it continues to meet your needs.
Not at all. Many people come to therapy unsure where to begin. We can gently explore whatever feels most present for you, at your own pace.
You can get in touch to arrange your free introductory call. From there, we’ll explore what you’re looking for and whether working together feels like the right fit.
My work is grounded in a mind–body approach, recognising that emotions, experiences, and stress can be held physically as well as mentally. I integrate approaches such as Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, and eco-therapy, depending on what suits you.
Sessions typically range from £65–£75, with some concession rates available. Please get in touch to discuss current availability and options.
Yes, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. This is a chance for you to ask questions, share what’s brought you to therapy, and see if we’re a good fit
I work from a private therapy space in Ditchling (near Burgess Hill), and also offer online and outdoor sessions for flexibility
This depends on your needs. Many clients choose weekly sessions, but we can decide together what feels right for you.
Yes. Confidentiality is a core part of therapy. Everything you share is kept private, with a few legal and ethical exceptions which will be explained clearly at the start
My work is rooted in the belief that you already hold the answers within you. I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore your story, reconnect with your body, and move towards greater clarity and self-acceptance.
